- Extract the Downloaded Tecno Flash Tool Onto A Folder on your PC. Now, you need to extract the Tecno Flash Tool onto a folder on your PC. Preferrably, it should be extracted onto the PC's desktop.
- Open Tecno Flash Tool Folder. Open the folder in which you have extracted the Tecno Flash Tool and locate
SWD_AfterSales.exe. Once it is located, double-click on the file to run the SWD_AfterSales - if prompted, run the file as admin. - Prepare to Load Device Firmware. Now, locate the settings icon and click on it. Once clicked, a pop up opens. From the pop up box, click "Load" and navigate to the folder in which you have stored or extracted the firmware file you wish to flash on the device and select it. - Connect Phone to the PC. Finally, switch-off the phone then, wait a few seconds to confirm that the phone has been switched-off and then; connect the device to the PC using its compatible USB cable while pressing both of the volume keys simultaneously.
- Almost immediately, Tecno Flash Tool should detect the connected device and commence the flashing operation.
- Flashing may take between 5 to 15 minutes to complete. Just wait patiently while Tecno tool flashes the phone.
- Once flashing is completed, a green-marked notification with "completed" would be displayed.
